Cavepelt looked around and pointed a tabby tail at the shortest tree. "Let's start with something small. So, if you do fall it won't be a long way down." he nudged her along to the tree and purred. He gazed at her, and back at the tree.
"I'll demonstrate for you, first. So, first, make sure you keep all of your balance steady. And whatever you do, don't look down. First, you dig your claws into the trunk. It'll help you climb up." he said, digging his claws into the bark. "Then, pull yourself up, and keep yourself focused. Then, haul yourself onto a branch and there you go, you're in a tree. Now, you try" Cavepelt said, sitting on the lowest branch.

Suncloud examined every move of Cavepelt's, before scrambling up the tree clumsily after him. She made the mistake of looking down, and her green eyes widened the size of the moon as she let out a squeal. "Oh StarClan," she mewed, "WindClan cats don't leave the ground." her orange tail flitted nervously as she turned to narrow her eyes at Cavepelt, waiting to see what he had to say next.

Cavepelt gave her a reassuring purr. "Don't look down again. Relax yourself, but keep your claws in the tree. Pull yourself up slowly" he instructed. His green eyes lit up with reassurance and calmness. "Dont worry, Suncloud. I won't let you fall."

Suncloud purred comfortingly, brushing Cavepelt's cheek gently with hers. "I believe you" she mewed, her green eyes glittering with trust as she gazed over at the ThunderClan warrior. Glancing up at the higher branches, she tilted her head and tightened her grip on the branch. "Are you going further?"

Cavepelt purred with happiness as she pulled herself up and onto the branch next to him. He felt her pelt against his, and he heated up instantly. He shook his head at her question. "I think this is good enough for now. Here, since we aren't that far up, it'll be safe to just jump" he said, leaping from the branch and waited for her to do the same thing.
He then noticed, he didn't want the night to end. But it was late, and his clan might start getting worried soon. He'd have to roll around in a patch of leaves or something to smell more like Thunderclan again and catch a mouse or two for an excuse.
"Our clans will start worrying, soon. But...will you.." he couldn't believe he was about to say this. "Meet me here tomorrow night at moon high?"

Suncloud nervously leaped down after him, then shook her orange pelt and lifted her tail as she listened to his words carefully. Her green eyes sparkled as she heard his question and thought for a second. She figured this was definitely against the warrior code, but they weren't doing any harm? They weren't on each others territory. And she didn't want to never see her new friend again. "Of course," she blinked, a purr escaping her throat.

At her answer, Cavepelt purred back. "Wonderful" he said, nodding his head. He flicked his tail and rose to his paws, padding away towards Thunderclan. As he was just about to vanish into the bushes, he stopped himself and turned to face her one last time, taking in her beautiful face. "Have a good night, Suncloud" and then, he disappeared into the forest. For once, he felt like all anger and jealousy was gone.

Suncloud gazed at the ThunderClan warrior until he disappeared from her site, then slowly trotted back onto the moorland, letting her pawsteps slide into racing through the wind, her green eyes glittering in thought, her orange fur a streak through the air
