Shadepool slipped out in the clearing, still a little dozed from the nap she had taken. She smiled feeling the warm sun on her sleek pelt. After enjoying the heat on her pelt for a moment, she walked over to the fresh kill pile, her stomach growling. Her mouth watered at the scents of fish. She herself hadn't gone on patrol yet and decided it would only be fair if she took the smallest fish considering she hadn't done her duties for the day. Shadepool grabbed the small fish from the fresh kill pile and walked over to an area that was lit up by the sun rays beaming down on it. Shadepool set the small fish down and looked at the camp around her, she smiled and sat down.
The sun rays beamed down on her pelt. Shadepool purred with satisfaction as the sun's heat warmed her pelt. She then took a bite out of the fish and gazed up at the sky taking in the wonderful view of it all. Shadepool then returned her gaze back to the fish and took another bite. She decided after she was done with the fish she would ask Spottedclaw which patrol she should go on for the day.
Shadepool gazed around once more and looked for someone to talk to.

Specklewing padded up to the freshkill pile and picked up a fish hungrily. She ate it quickly, she hadn't eaten all day, instead she had been sorting through dusty her stores, she was starving. She noticed Shadepool sitting there. 'Mousedung, I should have eaten somewhere eles, now I'm going to have to talk to her, she probably hates me as much as the rest of her clan.' she thought.
"Um.. Hello Shadepool." she mewed figuring the she cat, would only say a few words to her to be poliet. |

Shadepool looked up from her fish seeing someone had spoken to her, the first cat in awhile, no one normally spoke to Shadepool because of her fathers death. Shadepool recognized Specklewings voice and looked up to see her standing by the fresh kill pile "hello Specklewing," she said pausing for a moment and continued "How has your day been so far?" she asked smiling slightly, Shadepool was glad for company, after all how many cats had actually noticed her in the clan, most just acted like she was a shadow or some leaf waiting to be taken away by the wind

"My day's been fine, i suppose just busy, I have alot of herbs to sort, and gather" Specklewing mewed "How has your day been." She found that Shadepool wasn't as hard to talk to as most other cats. 'Perhapes because she hasn't been around me much.' she thought
She had noticed that Shadepool rarely spoke to other cats, she seems almost like me. She doesn't look at me like I've got greencough, and she'll catch if she gets to close. |

Shadepool gazed at her and listened to what she had said "Yes it must be hard being medicine cat, after all the clan depends on you to gather the herbs and care for the sick" she said and added "my days going fine so far i guess, i havent done very much, just got up from taking a nap" shadepool said smiling and let out a small laugh, seeing that it sounded like she was very lazy. Shadepool bent down and took another bite of her fish and gazed at the sky for a moment seeing only a few clouds in the sky above, then she looked back at Specklewing and looked at her tabby pelt shining in the sun

Specklewing nodded "It is hard but I know it's what I was meant to do." she stood and streached enjoying the warm sun on her fur. She yawned. "Lucky you, I could use a nap, I feel like I haven't had a decent rest for moons" it was true she had been so busy she really hadn't had any time to rest. mabey she could find time to take a quick nap sometime. |

"yes i know what you mean" Shadepool said understanding what she meant by 'it was what i was meant to do' for her that thing was being a warrior, she loved fighting for her clanmates to keep them safe even if it meant risking her life. Shadepool felt bad for Specklewing, hearing that she hadn't had a desent rest in sometime "im sure you'll find time to take a nap" she said looking at Specklewing, her gaze sympethetic for the young she-cat, she knew being medicine cat had lots of responsibility's, and that was one of them most medicine cats spend day and night working to help their clan "your a good medicine cat Specklewing" Shadepool said smiling, specklewing gave up a lot of time resting for her clan, she thought to herself and took another bite of her fish

Ripplewave walked over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a small pike she ate a few bites and gazed up at the sky. Ever since her mate hate been killed by his own brother, Darkstorm, Dark now since he had been exiled, she rarely talked to anyone, and the only person she ever talked to was Aquapaw, her son who had never met his father, since his death had happened before he was born. She actually knew why Dark had killed his own brother, it was because he had been in love with her to and had let his jealously get the best of him.

shadepool watched Ripplewave for a moment and frowned seeing her glum, "hey ripplewave!" she called out and paused "Come join us!" she called out to her and smiled, she knew the warrior was like her, no one really talked to them and stuff, barely anyone had talked to shadepool, but she had then made the best of it and talked when she could, she had felt sympathy for the warrior, she had recently lost her mate she remembered and gazed at her, shadepools eyes filled with sympathy remembering it all,
(and the storms have begun! theres a severe storm where i am going on right now, and im sitting right next to the window, hearing ever bit of thunder really loud, my ears are starting to hurt,..))

ooc: I don't mind storms as long as they don't knock out the power.
Ripplewave glanced up startled before realizing who it was and padded over. "Oh, hello, Shadepool, Specklewing," she meowed quietly dipping her head politely to Shadepool, and gave Specklewing a respectful dip of her head.

shadepool smiled "so how has you day been?" she asked trying to cheer her up, she smiled slightly and then gazed around the camp for a moment seeing only a few warriors in the camp at the moment then returned her gaze to specklewing and ripplewave, and then ate the last bite of her fish

shadepool still watched ripplewave "its hot out isn't it?" she asked and gazed around before sprawling out on the ground letting her fur touch the cold shaded earth, she purred softly as the colder ground comforted her burning hot bur, she closed her eyes for a moment but opened them once more to glance at ripplewave "that's good" she added since she said her day had been fine
