Blueflight,the WindClan Deputy and also a former kittypet,was lying out in the clearing,warming her blue-gray and silver pelt.She heard pawsteps approach her. She opened her ice blue eyes to see a shadow standing over her."Hello?Who's there?" She was happy to be Deputy of WindClan but sometimes she wished she was with her Twolegs.

Galestar made her way to the clearing, the warm sun bathing her fur and her eyes sparkling with the sunlight that reflected in them. The moorland grass felt soft against her tiny paws. She breathed in the fresh green leaf air. The clan was at it's best, and she loved it. Green leaf always was her favorite season. It felt much better compared to the frosty winds and snow of leaf-bare.
Ahead of her, she noticed her deputy, Blueflight. "Oh, it's just me. Good morning" she greeted, giving her a nod. "It's a beautiful day out, isn't it?" Galestar asked her. As soon as she caught a glimpse of her eyes, she could see the faintest look deep inside of them. Some kind of longing. But, she didn't ask Blueflight what it was.

Blueflight looked up at her leader,she stood up and shook her blue-gray pelt out of dust and grass."Oh yes,it is quite Galestar." She pushed the thought of being a kittypet away,back into the depths of her mind.Blueflight went and picked out two plump rabbits she had caught eariler,and laid one in front of Galestar. She dipped her head to the WindClan leader.

Galestar saw the rabbit, and the fresh scent of it made her stomach growl. She realized he hadn't eaten all day, and she was hungrier than she thought. "Thank you, Blueflight" she said warmly, taking a bite out of the rabbit. Her eyes gazed back to her deputy, and she started remembering so much.
It was many seasons ago. Blueflight was barely old enough to be an apprentice. She had come from the two leg place, and it was so cold in the middle of leaf bare when she came. Windclan was in desperate need of warriors, so she offered a home to the blue-gray she-cat. Her warriors deemed her insane, for letting a kitty-pet into the clan. But little had they forgot that she was half kitty-pet with her mother being a kitty pet and her dad being a Windclan warrior. She couldn't turn this cat down.
But hey, she ended up being a great warrior. Galestar could not ask for a better deputy. "So" she said. "How have you been?"[/size]

Blueflight bit into her rabbit,then she heard Galestar ask how she was doing."I am doing well,Galestar.What about you?" Blueflight looked at the leader that took her in little moons ago. She knew Galestar was half-kittypet,a kittypet and a WindClan warrior, Blueflight took another bite of the plump and juicy rabbit.

"I'm actually doing very well. Leafbare is behind us, and I'm always thankful to Starclan for that. There's no quarrels between the clans, and all is peaceful." she said, taking another bite. The sun felt good on her fur. "This is the most peace the clans have had in a long time."

Blueflight nodded what the leader had said was true."I'm happy I'm from kittypet to being in WindClan,Galestar." Blueflight's bright blue gaze wandered into the forest beyond WindClan territory and camp. Then her gaze back onto Galestar,her leader. Blueflight wondered what her Twolegs were doing with their new cat.

Galestar looked at her deputy. Had she read her mind about the kittypet thing? She just nodded her head, though. "I know what you mean. I don't remember much of my kittypet life. The only thing I remember is when my father let the fox kill my mother, and then almost as soon as we got back my sister died. I'm almost glad all of that happened, though. I love being a clan cat."

Blueflight smiled at Galestar."I hope more cats come soon." Blueflight ate the last bite of the rabbit and pushed the scraps away."Would you like to go hunting with me Galestar?" Blueflight licked her silver paw and drew it over her face waiting for Galestar to answer her question.

Galestar finished her rabbit and rose to her paws. Then, she listened to her deputy's offer. She thought about it, then nodded her head. "I suppose I can. There's been no signs of intruder's lately, and the camp is well guarded. The warriors will know where we are in case of trouble, and I haven't been out of the camp since the last gathering." she said.
She started to walk away towards the moor. She flicked her tail for Blueflight to follow.

Blueflight nodded and got to her silver paws and followed Galestar out of camp."Where shall we hunt Galestar?I was thinking by the river near RiverClan border?"Blueflight smelled many scents among her scent glands she waited patiently for Galestar's answer on where they should hunt at. Maybe the river?

Galestar nodded her head. "I suppose we can try near the border. However, let's be careful to not cross it. There is no tension between the clans, and I would like to keep it that way." she said, looking towards the direction of the border. A war was the last thing that she needed. She glanced back at her deputy.
"Well, then, lets get going. I'd like to get back before the sun sets completely."

Blueflight nodded and smelled all kinds of different scents. She smelled rabbit and saw it nibbling on some grass. She chased after it when she had caught up to it,she leaped and it fell to the ground instantly. She killed it with a swift bite to the neck and carried it back to Galestar.
