It was a late starry night. It was one of those kind of nights where a walk was needed. One of those walks there you do nothing but think. Bane slowly made his way between trees, just outside the clan's territories. He would ever so often pause and stare into the distance. Pain and anger resided inside of him. He growled a growl of disgust. It was all of the clan's fault. He wanted the clans dead.
After his pause, Bane kept on with his walk. He knew where he was going. He passed a few more trees and stopped at a certain bush where death berries grew abundantly. He lay down and rested his head against the stump. Sadness fell over him. Regret and sorrow would not leave him.
"Daina, I'm so sorry. Their claws should have pierced me, not you. You were so sweet, your heart was pure and my love for you wishes it could bring you back. I will avenge you, one day, I will avenge you"
His quiet whispers turned silent. He wanted to scream an yowl with grief like he did when she first died, but he bit it back and just stayed there. Why did his life always go in circles? When would he stop doing things wrong? He felt that pain again.
'It should have been me that the hawk got, not Moon. It shoud have been me that bled to death, not her...' he thought bitterly. Bane just didn't know what to do anymore. All except that he should not and would not trust not a soul.

"I'll be back soon!" Firespark called to her clan mates before disappearing into the crisp forest night. Her shining bright red pelt shone like a sun made out of boiling blood. She was indeed a beautiful she-cat. The type of cat most she-cats wanted to die of. Just because she looked perfect. She sparked jealousy in most cat's hearts. "Why should I be back soon?" She asked herself out loud while at the border. Her voice was dark, cold, lonely yet angelic. Her head held high and she looked proud.
But once she settled on the border she looked just sad, her ears against her head. She lay on the border and looked helplessly up at the sky. Firesparks aqua green eyes studied the stars and she muttered softly to herself in an angelic warm sad lonely voice, "What is my purpose? So many times I feel like a loner or rouge but really my life is cursed to be so much worse."

Bliss sighed and looked around the cat she loved had died, it's because of those stupid foxes, and to make matters worse her siblings had abandoned her when she needed them the most, but she had been the one to push them away, and that caused them to leave. She sighed again shaking out her white fur and began to walk orotund her icy-gaze sweeping the undergrowth and she dug her long claws into the ground, 'Why does live have to be so unfair?' she asked herself. Then she gazed at the sky, 'first I lost my parents, then my mate, then my siblings abandoned me,' she thought bitterly.

Bane was half asleep. His dull, faded green eyes were slowly closing for him to drift off to sleep. The memory of Daina was still fresh in his mind. Her soft, sweet face and her voice sounded like smooth honey or the calming sound of a slow running river. She was so beautiful. She was so perfect. Today was the same day eleven moons ago that she was murdered.
Then, his near sleep was disturbed by a scent as well as the sound of pawsteps. He lifted his head, his fur bristling. He listened for a minute, before he jumped to his paws. "Who's there!?" he spat. He could tell there was more than one cat. "Show yourselves!" Bane demanded coldly.

Bliss stepped out of the bushes apparently so lost in thought thought she hadn't noticed the other two cats. Then she did notice the tom, and her face closed off from all emotions.

Bane glared at the white she-cat that stepped from the bushes. She displayed no emotion, and his expression was rather defensive. "Who are you?" he growled, his white and tabby fur standing on one end. He looked around cautiously. By the mingled scents that filled the air, he knew there was more than one cat around. One of them didn't smell as himself and this she-cat in front of him. It was more of a marshy scent, which lead him to be more suspicious.

"Do I look stupid? I know you're a rogue. You share just about the same scent as I do..." he wavered a little, but kept his expression cold and strong. "What are you doing here, Bliss? I have this place marked right here, this is my territory"

Was that a glimpse of sadness he saw in her eyes? Or even offense or pain? He let his fur lie flat as he listened to her reasoning and her excuses. He sighed, and sat down, not feeling the need to fight. He was too overwhelmed with emotion and too tired to be fighting, even though he was the fighting kind.
"Well, then go ahead...." he said, his angered expression slowly fading into a worn out, grieved looking one. As long as nobody was hurting anyone, he would be just fine. And even if this she cat wanted to fight him, he knew being larger than her gave him more of the advantage, anyways.

She didn't even make another sound. She remained quiet as she had given him a look then settled on her way. Bane sighed and watched her leave, turning his head away from the stranger that was now leaving his small center of territory. He lay back down next to the grave of his love, feeling the pain of loneliness.
He wished she were with him right now, but she wasn't and never would be again. He lived life without her, only keeping her close with the memories. The memories were the only thing dear to him. His family had disowned him, his love was dead, and he didn't have a single friend in the world. Half of him didn't mind. Who needed others? He was better off alone.
But, as the other half would say, why couldn't he just have someone?
