Slick's Doodles

I like to pride myself on my artistic skills, but let it be known that I am one of the laziest artists ever. I never want to pick my tablet up and work with paint tool SAI or Photoshop CS5 and all that nice stuff. I never want to color with my nice brand name color pencils. So I always pick up a piece of paper -- whether it be lined notebook or a sketchbook -- and use my favorite mechanical pencil to just.... doodle whatever.

So basically this is just a place to dump my stuff.

omg no i'm still working on a consistent style. i'm better at drawing actual PEOPLE but every time i go to tumblr and then try to draw my favorite characters, they end up being slightly (read: TOTALLY) different in terms of my own style. i'm trying to jump far from the usual "anime" look that people go for these days, blurgh.

this is what i get for watching a fandom with MANY, MANY artists with LOTS of different styles and interpretations. but i love them. ♥

anyways, have a WIP with lineart and some color that needs to be erased outside the lines....

alllllright so the first post was a collection of doodles i've done over the past school year -- or at least the ones i bothered to snap pics of and that i actually LIKE..... because my style actually shifted in between the first and second semesters and i was like WOOOOAH WHAT HAPPENED HAND DID YOU GO THROUGH A PHASE AGAIN???

and apparently it did.

BUT this lame collection is some pieces of digital art i've done; even if they are sketches or colored images with white backgrounds............. i'm incredibly lazy AT LEAST LOLA MAKES BACKGROUNDS??? also the most recent ones i have here are the top three, whereas everything else may as well be from january of this year to however far back, idk. some pieces were drawn in SAI, and others in photoshop, or even both!

I JUST SPENT ALL NIGHT ON THIS RRARREHJFSDGHG but i am proud of it. u__u even after SAI CLOSED OUT ON ME TWICE and then photoshop decided to be stupid with its own DEFAULT FONTS but IDC PHOTOSHOP, I. D. C. you can go burn with the rest of the CS family.

ANYWAYS. still working on my human anatomy and poses, but this is the best i've got so far. he's the one i'm filling out a homestuck form for. y'know, the one i keep griping about and putting off??

btw i know it's sloppy. i really didn't have patience to carefully erase brush strokes because that would've required more painting if i made a mistake that could not be fixed by CTRL+Z......
