Mistyfrost left the nursery and padded into Icestar's den. The sun was bright in the air, and manage to push passed the pines. She pushed herself into the den, and nodded her head to Icestar as she entered. "Hello, Icestar" she purred. "Goldenkit and Silverkit are coming to their sixth moon very soon, and so that means they need mentors. Do you have anyone in mind for my kits?" she asked.

Shadowstalker walked to the entrance of Icestar's den. Mistyfrost's voice was audible through the wall.
"Goldenkit and Silverkit are coming to their sixth moon very soon, and so that means they need mentors. Do you have anyone in mind?"
Shadowstalker had come to talk about the same thing. She paused at the opening and stuck her head through. "Sorry to interrupt, but I was just coming to talk about the same thing." She looked between Icestar and Mistyfrost.

"Yes, you will mentor Goldenkit," Icestar meowed to Shadowstalker and turned back to Mistyfrost before continuing, "And I'll mentor Silverkit," she meowed

Shadowstalker stepped into the den. Her ears pricked as she heard the news. "Oh! Thank you, Icestar! I will teach her as best I can! When is the ceremony going to be held? Surely before the full moon?" She fidgeted and scuffled her paws in the dirt, waiting for an answer.
